CloudVantage has announced its official launch on Monday, becoming Nigeria’s first indigenous cloud-automation computing company.

The launch marked a pivotal moment for developers, tech engineers and businesses across Africa, introducing a powerful, highly-resistant platform designed to solve the critical challenges of time management, complex onboarding processes, manual complexity of spinning up servers, cost management, and security.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Muhideen Ashiru, expressed CloudVantage’s commitment to empowering Nigerian and African enterprises, from governments, large corporations to startups, with world-class, affordable, and compliant cloud infrastructure.

“For too long, Nigerian and African businesses, including governments have sought affordable, local cloud-automation solutions, simple and reliable locally-developed options with a ‘pay-as-you-go’ model,” said Ashiru.

“CloudVantage has come to provide those dependable solutions. We are not just offering cloud services; we are delivering an automated digital advantage. Our platform eliminates the unexpected hidden charges, finally making scalable, secure, and smart cloud technology accessible right here at home.”

The tech guru explained that CloudVantage platform is built on a foundation of intelligent automation, directly addressing the pain points of modern cloud adoption among which are automated cost optimisation, automated security, and automated provisioning.

He added, “CloudVantage offers comparative advantages in the market. For instance, our tools monitor, analyse, and automatically adjust cloud resources, preventing the unexpected and budget-draining costs that plague traditional “pay-as-you-go” services.

“We also have in-built features for automated security checks and real-time monitoring, eliminating the common problem of cloud misconfiguration and potential data exposure.

“Our automated provisioning enables instant, self-service deployment of Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), significantly reducing deployment time and human error.”

According to him, CloudVantage also offers a full suite of foundational cloud services, ensuring businesses have all the tools necessary to build, deploy, and scale modern applications securely and efficiently.

He listed them as core computing and networking; storage and resilience, managed services, including Database as a Service (DBaaS).

“We have Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments for secure and isolated deployments, scalable infrastructure hosting for flexible resources, load balancer for optimal performance, floating IPs for accessibility and metrics for performance monitoring.

“Additionally, we have vault storage solutions offering secure and scalable data storage; volumes for persistent block storage; and volume snapshots for quick data recovery and backups.”

CloudVantage is currently accepting sign-ups for its platform from developers and businesses interested in transforming their digital infrastructure. Visit https://cloudvantage.com.ng for more information.
