Lagos Poll: LASIEC Officials Visit Alimosho Local Govt

Earlier today, Monday 17th February, 2025, The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) officials led by the retired judge Hon. Bola okikiolu Ibile paid a visit to Alimosho Local Government in preparation for the forthcoming Local Government Election.

The main purpose of the visit is know how ready the Local Government is, ensuring the statutory responsibility of everyone which has to be fulfilled and fully participate in the forthcoming Locally Government election.

Also, she said being the largest local government in Lagos State, they have to encourage and create awareness for the people to come out and vote and ensure that the election is free and fair.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. Jelili Adewale Sulaimon appreciated the Officials from LASIEC office led by Hon. Omobolanle Okikiolu Ibile. He promised a free and fair election in Alimosho Local Government.

The Council Boss said, “I will ensure a free and fair election in Alimosho Local Government and ensure the residents performed their electoral franchise for a free and fair election”

Among the team were Mr Samson Ajibade, High Chief Hakeem Durojaiye, the PRO, Mr Tope, Mrs Aguda Omobolanle and others.

Also, present at the meeting were the Vice- Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson Ibrahim, SLG, Hon. Oludare Ogunkoya, Supervisors , Council Manager, Mrs Akinola Mojisola Yusuf, Barrister Taiwo Onakoya, the Council Legal Officer and Sadiq Kudirat, the Council PRO.
