In a move signaling early preparations for the 2027 presidential election, key Lagos State officials have convened to strategize on grassroots media mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Hon. Bisi Yusuf met with members of the Conference57 Chief Press Secretaries (CPS), the media aides representing the 57 local government and local council development areas in Lagos State. The focus of the meeting centered on strengthening communication channels to amplify President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda within local communities.
Officials emphasized the critical role of the CPS in bridging the gap between the government and the people, stressing the importance of accurate and consistent messaging. Hon. Yusuf urged the CPS to “take ownership of local narratives,” ensuring that government achievements are effectively communicated to the grassroots level.
Kamaldeen Iyanda Abdulsalam, Chairman of Conference57 CPS, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC). He pledged that the CPS would deploy “strategic media content, community engagement, and coordinated communication” to maintain public support for the administration.
