The Management and Staff of General Hospital, Ijede have rejoiced with the former Acting Medical Director, Dr. Olumuyiwa Balogun-Oluwa for his elevation as the new Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer of General Hospital, Agbowa.

Dr. Balogun-Oluwa has been described as a visionary leader, team player, mentor, a proactive, dedicated, committed, transparent, humble, friendly and a generous man who is worth emulating. He epitomizes diligence and manifests passion in the discharge of his duties.

Having served eight Medical Directors, six months as Acting Medical Director and 18 years in General Hospital, Ijede, the new Medical Director/CEO, General Hospital, Agbowa revealed that his promotion to the rank of a Medical Director was not influenced but by the grace of God, hard work, dedication, commitment and service to humanity.

He urged members of staff to continually be at their best at all times. He advised them to be transparent, committed and dedicated in the discharge of their duties, adding that hard work and selflessness pay.
